Shri Purnanand Vidya Niketan Samiti is a registered charitable society, passionately committed to the advancement of education and the holistic development of children. With a proud legacy spanning more than five decades, we have been a trusted name in the field of education since our inception in February 1963.
Our journey began when the foundation stone of our first institution was laid at Muni Ki Reti, Rishikesh, by Shri Jugal Kishore in 1963—then Education Minister of Uttar Pradesh and a devoted disciple of Swami Janardan Ji Paramhans. What started as a humble initiative has grown into a beacon of learning and character building.
The institution received government recognition as a High School in 1980 and was further elevated to an Intermediate College in 1987. Since then, we have continued to nurture young minds, instilling values, knowledge, and confidence to shape a better future.

B.Sc. Information Technology

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)
A Bachelor of Commerce (baccalaureates commercii, abbreviated B.Com. or B.Comm.) is an undergraduate degree in commerce (or business). This training program has been organized as per instruction of our chairman Sir Mr. Mukesh Kumar Gupta for non- technical staff. The objective of the training program is to learn the features and functionality of MS-word, MS-excel, MS-power point and see how they can be used for. The main goal of this training is to enable candidates to enhance their MS- Office skills through exercise and gaining hands on experience on various technique. The course cover step-by step lessons ranging from basic fundamental to more advanced features and program. It’s a highly practical course that will lead to learning powerful features and options to create word file, handling excel sheet, creating the slides for presentation and also skill to surf the internet.

Food Technology Students to give Practical knowledge of Organic Farming on October 09, 2020. Mr. Mukesh Kumar Gupta, The Chairman of the Swami Purnanand Degree College presided over the ceremony. Speaking on the occasion he told the importance of organic farming. In this program, the Master Trainer( Mr. Ravindra Dutt Uniyal) of Organic Farming gave information about the contribution and career of Organic Farming in nature.
